Artistic Philosophy
 
The high desert has a stark beauty all its own, one that inspires me on a daily basis. What else inspires me? Animals, literature, (particularly faerie tales) fantasy in its myriad forms. I love the work of Fra Filippo Lippi, Michelangelo, Maxfield Parrish, and Brian and Wendy Froud.
 
Art is communication. When I draw, paint, sculpt, I am telling you much about my world view. What I think is beautiful. What I think is scary. How I think, and what I feel. It’s all there on the page. I hope you enjoy it.
